A little bit of info regarding this Hi-Ryze record..
All tracks were made in the '90s, The Lowdown being an example of something I could never get to sound right even after adding extra parts in 1995 and then in 1999! Forward to this year and with my current setup I feel i have managed to get an acceptable mix, and as it is one of the last tracks of mine in a particular style - made on Atari with heavy use of Cubase's i.p.s. Sequencer I am happy to make it available.
Sunset After (a hot day) is another track that was forgotten. A rough mix onto cassette in 1993 with the idea to work on more later. 25 years on and re- discovering this track I feel it has a certain special vibe that deserves release.
Pavepaws is another totally forgotten track. One of the good things about letting a track sit for 25 years before doing anything is, no longer having any ego tied in a piece. I heard the track on an old DAT and thought, wow, I like this.. did I make it? Absolutely no memory! Anyway, I like it so... and on to Chicken Fat. Probably the oldest track here, made just before I started my Kibu stuff for Rising High. Again heavy use of Atari Cubase's I.P.S .. sequencing and yeah, I like it!
